Thorpe Design & Technologies approached Airwise Pneumatics back in 2015 – due to inflation in work, their existing compressor at times struggled to deliver, as Thorpe Design & Technologies were running off an old rotary screw compressor that was unreliable and not at all cost effective.

Airwise recommended the latest Hydrovane compressed air package, including fixed and variable speed compressors due to the high compressed air requirement fluctuations. The system was installed and set up, selecting the most efficient compressor at any given time and also allowing for duty/standby to provide efficient, cost effective production.

The Hydrovane ‘HR’ series rotary screw compressors from Airwise deliver more compressed air for less power consumption. They also offer ‘Air on Demand’, utilising variable speed drives, only producing the air in accordance to demand, resulting in at least 3% less power consumption compared to over-compressing wastage.
